I'm Mrs. A, and I'm the graying haired lady behind the blog here. Most folks here in our house call me "Mom", the oldest in the house calls me "honey". I have a love for all things fabric, sewing, cats, Jesus, hymns, and country type living.
Our house is in a special needs world, with 2 special needs adults at home. I've learned so much in the past nearly 20 years of raising special needs children, and in the years previous to that taking care of special needs adults. I'd be glad to share tidbits of insight.
Just to set it straight, I'm a conservative Christian. I believe we are saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe we are ALL sinners, fallen short of the grace of God, but by Jesus's death, burial, and resurrection, we can be saved and our sins forgiven--just repent and truly ask Jesus to put your sin debt on His account, trust that He will save you as He says He will. He saves from the utmost to the guttermost, He saves the whosoever (you and me and everyone in between), if we humble ourselves and ask it of Him. I believe in loving the person who sins, but not the sin--I can love you no matter what you do, because I'm a sinner too. I may not approve of the sin, but what you do is between you and Jesus. I wasn't always a Christian and I have a past a mile long and several miles wide...and by the grace of God I've been forgiven of all the stupid things I've done in the past. Praise God!
Now if you find anything offensive, by all means feel free to say so, and please do it in a kind manner. We are adults and have our big kid britches on.
